RE Wedding The Gruff Nuts played at our wedding in May 2009 and they really made our evening party memorable. The playlist was awesome and so much fun, with a great mix of songs. Everyone danced, (even our friends who normally never dance!) and said how good they were. One of our guests even booked them for her wedding next year and we can't wait to hear them again! RE Tamar Valley hash Posh frock do! 14th February 2009 Hi Tony Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for the wonderful music The Gruff Nuts played last Saturday for the running club posh frocks do. Your skill in choosing the right tunes and the right times kept most of us up on the floor all night long and at one point I am sure that all 100 of us were dancing. On the run on Monday there was lots of positive talk about the band and not one moan - amazing (only please can you get the others to learn Love Shack before we book you next time). And there definitely will be a next time. Thanks to you especially for being so professional about the whole booking and organisational thing. I was totally confident from the first time I spoke with you that you would come up with the goods. Michael Shelmerdine23rd July 2007 Dear Tony Clare and I would like to thank you and the other members of The Gruff Nuts for playing at our wedding reception. 30 June 2007 We had a fantastic day (despite the weather) and we both thought that all the songs were perfect for the occasion. The brass section was superb and did a great job in getting everyone on the dance floor. Everyone that I spoke to said they enjoyed themselves immensely. I have to say that you are priced very competitively and we will definitely be in touch for any future events.

August 26 2006 Tony "A man's reach should exceed his grasp, Or what's a heaven for?" Browning A heaven is having the Gruffnuts play at your party! Wow didn't you absolutely make the place buzz. Your mix of songs - excellent and appropriate , humbled as ever by your knowledge of the music world. The brilliance of the playing - each track reincarnated, plus extra fantastic singing by Paddy. I know tis diff for you Tony, but he is hunky and young, and a very nice bit if eyecandy for the girls, We all lusted openly!
The main thing that flows the eve though, is the fantstic Tony banter. That is a gift.
Someone said that there were about 200 people there, some older much partyied folk, We had loads of such delighted comments. It was an achievement to bring the whole party together in such away - I felt really proud! considering the other attractions - the riope swings, the assault course bouncy castle, the bonfire, the barbecue; but you did it magnificently!
